Michelle Bates has been focusing on various types of 2-D and 3-D art media since childhood. She has a background in Painting, Printmaking, and functional Ceramic pieces to be used in everyday life activities.

Michelle currently works for the Portland Public Schools Transition Program during the academic school year to bridge barriers to and make the students is most independent as possible.
