We’re sending a galactic thank you to our whole community for making this year’s PHAMEtastic such an incredible evening of joy, art, and support for our mission. Our hearts are full.

We’re tipping our space cowboy hats to our performance groups, who had our eyes and ears locked on the stage from the start. Chameleonica (our lo fi jam band), Rock n’ Roses (our rock ensemble), Almost PHAMEous (our comedy troupe), and our Dance Ensemble (name coming soon!) worked so hard to bring us a show to remember, and they shined like the stars they are.

To everyone who supported our event—donors, package winners, volunteers, staff, and board—thank you for supporting our mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead full, creative lives through arts education and performance. Your support matters because PHAME is more than just a school: we’re a creative hub where individuals with disabilities create, grow, and truly belong. And everyone deserves the opportunity to belong.

This year, PHAME took the bold and exciting step of leasing a 7,300 square foot building in SE Portland to host our programs. After sharing spaces with other organizations for 41 years, PHAME finally has a home of our own.

PHAME is Portland’s longest-standing arts organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As we launch into our next chapter, your support provides the backbone of our life changing work. It creates the stability we rely on to keep operations moving forward, and the perseverance we need to innovate again and again.

PHAME’s star is on the rise, but we are soaring because of YOU. Thank you.

At this year’s PHAMEtastic gala, guests:

• Dressed for a journey to the stars and entered our costume contest, judged by members of Almost PHAMEous

• Ate a delicious dinner catered by Grand Cru—local foodie favorites who catered our event for the first time

• Entered to win the raffle and played a fun gala game

• Purchased buy-it-now student art

• Bid on packages in our live auction and “Bid Frenzy”

• Heared meaningful stories about how PHAME programs are changing lives

• Raised their paddles and supported PHAME’s mission to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the arts
