July is Disability Pride Month and we’re marking the occasion with a joyful mini‑festival honoring the vibrancy, creativity, and power of our community! In partnership with our friends from Community Vision, we’re transforming the street between our buildings into an accessible, block‑party‑style celebration—filled with connection, joy, and pride.
What’s Happening at the Block Party
🎶 Live performances: from PHAME musicians, vocalists, dancers, and comedy troupe, plus sets from DJ Lamar and other artists.
🎨 Community connections & creativity: Disability‑focused organizations from across Portland will share resources, collaborative activities, and hands‑on art projects.
🍴 Delicious local food: Vendors will be serving up tasty bites throughout the event.
🚧🎉 A vibrant, accessible space: Festivities will take place in the car‑free street between our two spaces, inside PHAME, and in Community Vision’s open‑air parking garage.
Come for the performances, art, food, and community—stay for the joy. See you there! 🎉
