PHAME Surpasses Quarter-Million Fundraising Mark with 2016 "Sparkle!" Gala
This past Sunday, PHAME supporters came together in an incredible show of support for PHAME at the organization's "Best of Broadway" themed 2016 "Sparkle!" gala - and by the time the final notes had rung out from PHAME Rock Ensemble in the Sentinel Hotel ballroom, a new all-time fundraising record had been set.
"It is with huge pride that we share that PHAME raised over $254,000 at our 2016 'Sparkle!' gala," says Executive Director Stephen Marc Beaudoin. "This is an incredible accomplishment that we are so pleased to share with the community, because PHAME truly does belong to the community. The hundreds of supporters who gave generously at our gala are so important to us, and they're a part of a larger community of supporters who share our beliefs that art is a fundamental right, and that our community is better when everyone is included. So thank you to everyone who attended the 2016 gala and gave with such love and joy, thank you to our event sponsors and event committee led by Loren and Kathleen Landau, thank you to our talented staff and amazing volunteers, and especially, thank you to the artists of PHAME, who bring such talent and possibility to this community. We look forward to harnessing this incredible show of support to realize our vision of a community that champions opportunities and possibilities for all artists!"
The 2016 PHAME "Sparkle!" gala was presented by Wells Fargo (Presenting Sponsor), with additional support from The Standard and Upward Technology (Gold Sponsors), Pacific Continental Bank (Silver Sponsor), The Boeing Company, Klik Concepts, Morel Ink, and Hungry Hero Dessert Company (Bronze Sponsors), and Cana's Feast Winery (Official Wine Sponsor).
