Matthew Gailey is a singer, musician, teaching artist, and certified adaptive sports and recreation practitioner with a passion for creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, express themselves, and grow through the arts. He brings years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, older adults, and other diverse communities through music, recreation, and creative programming. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Matthew has performed and music directed in a variety of musical projects including collaborations with The Oregon Symphony, Portland Playhouse, Resonance Ensemble and Ok Not Ok. He especially enjoys helping performers discover their own voices and build confidence through collaborative music-making. He is delighted to return to PHAME as a clinician and teaching artist and to once again be part of its vibrant community of artists.
