Kirsten Saladow is a development and communications leader with more than 15 years of experience championing the arts and building the organizations, campaigns, and coalitions that sustain them. Known for moving fluidly between strategy and execution, she has raised millions of dollars for mission-driven organizations while shaping brands, campaigns, and partnerships for nonprofits across the country. She has helped steer policy conversations around arts funding, co-created capital campaign strategies to spur public support for the arts and administered visual arts grants from application through award. Kirsten believes that access to art and creative expression should belong to everyone, and that smart fundraising, strong storytelling, and genuine relationships are what make that access possible. A sought-after speaker and writer, she relishes the chance to share her expertise on fundraising, marketing, and community engagement while always returning to the idea that thriving arts communities are built on generosity, equity, and connection.

Outside of work, Kirsten is a resource parent who advocates for systemic change in the foster care system, working to ensure it better serves youth and families. When she's not doing that, you can usually find her chasing her toddler around Portland.
